I fear your headline is incorrect - she's not angry about a wasp nest; she's not even *seen* a wasp nest. She's madly speculating about what might be nesting outside her window - "if it was hairy bees, a man could come and build a hive for them, and we could eat honey and ride them like hovering ponies" - but doesn't even appear to have seen anything at all.
