Pay 'n pray?
Lambeth Palace a bit slow off the mark here - they should pay the council a fee then flog permits to the faithful. Book it on your mobile and you get 100 free texts a year to the god or saint of your choice. If you prefer, there's 'pray and go'.
Excellent grumpy look from the vicar there.
One has to ask oneself, what would Jesus do?
That church is pretty much in between two huge carparks, one of which is very cheap, the other of which is possibly free on sundays anyway.
