My brother once travelled to use an ATM in Walthamstow so that he could get a receipt with "Walthamstow E17". Still a dick to this day.
At the risk of making this story even duller, I actually do street naming and numbering for another council and it won't have been the council who put the sign there, under the legislation it's the responsibility of the developer. Still, anything to kick the Council, eh?
Interesting angle, though. Have they found another use for a selfie-stick?
