I feel sorry for local news photographers. They are hugely skilled and poorly paid, and sent out to photograph miserable people pointing at dog turds. Here, we celebrate their work

This photographer has no sense of adventure - I would have posed the angry gentleman up to his neck in a watery pothole, maybe with a shaking fist causing ripples on the surface.
You just can' get a sense of drama from a ruler, not unless it's Mugabe.
Isn't that a bit like painting the Forth Bridge?
