MILF.
If you follow the comments right to the end (an exhausting trip!) the woman WAS entitled to the amount initially given and some dim wit cocked up her renewal, panicked her with an £11,000 debt, took away her income and caused her to give up her apprenticeship 6 months before completion.
This is a case of human tragedy caused by faceless bureaucratic incompetence.
