The best thing that could be done with this book is to ignore it. It is badly written, cliched and full of really stupid suggestions. Never, never, use plastic ties as bondage restraints - their ratchet style clasps can chafe, or even cut into, skin, causing blood loss and possibly infection. Thery are also extremeley difficult to remove, requiring cutting and, if too tight, the removal can cause even more skin damage. Anyone takingpart in a bondage session and agrees NOT to use a safe word deserves everything they receive. It is stupid and dangerous and removes any insight into where the level of acceptability ends. I write this as someone who, quite a few years ago, had a relationship with a woman who liked to be spanked - some way out of my personal comfort zone! It all ended when she lay over the kitchen table, lifted up her skirt and said, "Hurt me. Really hurt me!" I told her that she had fat anklesd and no dress sense! That really hurt!

By the sound of it Clare Phillipson and the rest of the women’s refuge just need a good shag...
