Celebrating excellence in the field of local newspaper photography
Local news photographers are hugely skilled and poorly paid, and get sent to photograph miserable people gurning at uncooked meat products. Here, we celebrate their work.

And hey presto! it's all been fixed: "The overgrown bushes have now been removed – allowing the main tree in the plot room to grow – and the land levelled and seeded with grass seed. As well as resolving the anti-social behaviour issue, the clearing of the area has also improved visibility for drivers."
There was never any shortage of grass available there.
Why would miscreants want to hide in bushes opposite a girl school?
The miscreants ARE from the girl's school. It's like bloody St Trinian's.
Me, the 13th Duke of Wybourne? Here? In the bushes with sixth-form girl's grammar pupils? At three o'clock in the afternoon? With my reputation? What were they thinking of?
And now I know what a dacoit is - thank you, Alistair.
The Royal Geographical Society has a 38 page booklet on Riding [a bicycle] through Dacoit infested country and Wikimedia has a photograph showing crucified Dacoits. Watford certainly is a dangerous place !!!
Love it--angry APILN commenters! No doubt that this issue has touched some sort of raw nerve.
When in doubt...defoliate! :(
